| JOHN V. CHARD MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND Throughout their lives, John and Daniel Chard shared experiences and personal perspectives. Their interests and talents sustained a tight bond that was reinforced by a strong family culture. Their common ground became a resource for their creative work, while using the personal poetic content in their lives as the basis for their art forms. Gloucester County College presented an exhibition of Daniel’s paintings in 2010 that included a publication of John’s poetry, Looking… , with an introduction by Daniel. Funds from the sale of archival prints of Daniel’s paintings and the sale of the poetry book, Looking… , finance the John V. Chard Memorial Scholarship Fund, providing support for students committed to choral work and the Gloucester County College Community Chorus. The poetry book, Looking…, and archival prints are available through the GCC Foundation Office. Purchase forms may be downloaded here.
